in this thread share food tips for stuff you can make with minimal effort

for almost all my microwaving, I use a bowl so I can cover it with a plastic salad bowl cover (so no splattering, no messing with saran wrap, etc.)

Tofu

open a package of tofu and slide into bowl. add some soy sauce, dilute with a splash of water, mirin if you have it, garnishes such as seaweed shakers or green onion if so inclinced.

heat in microwave

Microwave poached egg

In tap water with added bouillon or hondashi base, or something like that, crack an egg. microwave about 3 minutes (test for your microwave)
